Clinical Nurse - Surgical & Wound

About the role

Provides comprehensive outpatient nursing care in a full-time, Monday–Friday setting with no weekends, holidays, or call. The position involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, promoting patient- and family-centered care, safety, and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
• Participates in professional development and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; BSN preferred.
• Less than 2 years of experience preferred; wound care experience a plus.
• Strong critical nursing skills, attention to safety, and ability to work collaboratively.
