Clinical Nurse - Wound & Ostomy

Role Overview

Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
• Maintains safety awareness as a safety-sensitive position, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure: Current RN license required.
• Experience: No prior experience necessary; preferred candidates possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
