Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient and family care appropriate to the complexity of the problems and available system resources.
• Uses clinical inquiry to improve clinical practice and service outcomes.
• Affirms and evaluates care delivery models and implements changes based on outcome data.
• Develops education programs to enhance patient outcomes and the overall quality of care.
• Supports nursing practice through presentations, publications, research, and participation in professional organizations.
• Captures and coordinates with multiple disciplines to address and resolve system-level issues.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills in Office, Word and Excel
• Advanced knowledge of nursing theory and practice in specialty
• Skilled in the use of specialized equipment used in respective area of practice
• Evidence of clinical expertise in a patient care setting or specialty practice
• Evidence of project management and/or process improvement
• Evidence of transformational leadership in implementation of evidence-based practice
• Ethical decision making and patient advocacy
• Knowledge of learning principles for population served
• Evidence based practice implementation and innovation

Qualifications

• Master's of Nursing
• 2+ years of Position-Related Experience

Skills

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
