Clinical Nurse Specialist - Inpatient Neurology

About the Role

A Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) focused on improving patient care quality within a designated specialty practice. The CNS leads initiatives across patient, nursing, and organizational levels and actively participates in nursing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to enhance patient outcomes
• Serve as a leader in nursing practice
• Contribute to organizational improvements
• Demonstrate teamwork and leadership in clinical settings

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing with a CNS focus (Doctorate preferred)
• Current RN and CNS licenses
• BLS certification
• At least five years of nursing experience, including two in the specialty area
• Flexibility to adapt schedule as needed

Skills & Certifications

• Strong leadership and clinical expertise
• Certification in the specialty area
• Additional specialty certifications recommended
