About the Role
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers.
Schedule
Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays as needed
Service Areas
Virginia Beach, VA. May float to other clinics as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program and Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice
- Experience in family physician setting; possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies
- BLS (American Heart Association) or obtained upon hire
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion/AccuRX team
Essential Functions
- Able to work as a team member with all members of PIS. Working alongside with nurses and other NPs/MDs. Able to perform as a provider and nursing functions as needed
- Oversee the infusions being administered in the AIC. Travel to other AICs when needed for adequate coverage for all AICs
- Maintains strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies

Pay
The anticipated pay range for this position is $55–60/hour. Final compensation is based on factors including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to frequently stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, talk, and hear. There may be prolonged periods of sitting, keyboarding, reading, as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading, distance, computer, and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with patients, vendors, and staff.
