Clinical Nurse - Pediatric ER

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a pediatric trauma center emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and regulatory compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and families, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs. Uses critical nursing skills to assess patient needs and barriers to involvement.

Schedule

Night shifts, every third weekend, and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN licensure required.
• Preferred: Less than 2 years of experience in pediatric or emergency nursing.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness is essential.
