We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 10-week contract assignment in a Pediatric Emergency Room in Chicago, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pediatric ER nurse with at least 1 year of experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
About the role
Travel/contract nursing position in the Pediatric Emergency Room at a Chicago, IL facility. Contract length: 10 weeks, starting September 8, 2026.
Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 3×12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekends
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license (must be in hand)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- PALS certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Pediatric Emergency Room experience (preferred)
- Epic experience (preferred; candidates without Epic must complete an instructor-led Epic training course)
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pediatric emergency setting
