About the Role

This position is for a registered nurse working in a 90-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within a major hospital. The nurse provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring patient and family-centered care in a fast-paced environment that includes complex surgical procedures and critical care for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on post-treatment care
• Promote safety and quality compliance
• Develop individualized care plans
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• No prior experience required, but less than 2 years of experience is preferred for higher qualifications
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment
