About the role
We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to join our staffing resource office team at Mease Dunedin Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Assess, document, and manage patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Associate's degree in nursing (ASN)
- 2 years of PACU RN current experience in a hospital setting
- Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
- Mandatory independent transportation for assignments/shifts
- Flexibility for travel nurse experience preferred
Qualifications
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional on-call duties
