Clinical Nurse - Outpatient Infusion

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an outpatient infusion setting, focusing on oncology treatments such as chemotherapy, blood products, IV hydration, and port care. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families
• Develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with an interprofessional team
• Promote a healing environment through patient and family education
• Participate in safety, quality, and professional development activities
• Develop and communicate comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the team and patient
• Assess and address physical, emotional, and psychosocial patient needs
• Demonstrate strong IV insertion and port access skills
• Commit to patient‑centered care and safety

Qualifications

• RN licensure with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology, infusion, hospice, or critical care
• Strong critical thinking, communication, organizational, and IV skills
• Ability to work safely and adapt to rotating site assignments
