Clinical Nurse, Outpatient - Breast Center

About the role

The primary purpose of the Clinical Nurse position is to positively affect patient outcomes by providing, coordinating, and supporting evidence-based direct patient care across the continuum of care. The highest quality of patient care and the appropriate use of resources is achieved in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Transformational Leadership:

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification if working in ASC Post Anesthesia (600761).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if working in ASC Post Anesthesia (600761) or Pedi - Child & Adolescent Center (113200).

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Preferred: OCN - Oncology Nurse Certification or Certification in specialty practice area.
• Preferred: CBCN - Certified Breast Care Nurse.
• Preferred: Two years of clinical nurse experience, preferably in an oncology outpatient setting.

All clinical nurses with less than one year of registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.

Pay

Salary range: $68,000 (minimum) - $105,200 (midpoint) - $142,500 (maximum).

Hourly breakdown: $32.69 (minimum) - $50.58 (midpoint) - $68.51 (maximum).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
