Clinical Nurse - Operating Room Weekend Option

About the role

Full-time Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room Pod 2 Trauma unit, specializing in Acute Critical Care Surgery, Trauma, Ortho Trauma, Plastics, Upper Extremity, Reconstructive Joint Surgery, and Ortho Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care with assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards
• Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration
• Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development
• Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors
• Working in a safety-sensitive environment requiring alertness and safe practices

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and less than two years of experience
• No supervisory experience required; recent experience in related fields preferred
