About the Role
Provides direct patient care in an outpatient surgery setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Promotes patient and family-centered care
- Educates patients and families on illness management
- Ensures safety and quality compliance
- Develops and documents individualized care plans
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Active RN licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Less than 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- Experience in an operating room (OR) setting is a plus
