Clinical Nurse - Operating Room and Outpatient Surgery Center

About the role

This position involves providing direct patient care in an outpatient surgery setting with multiple ORs and GI suites, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.

Qualifications

• Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree, RN license, and no prior experience needed.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
