About the role
Clinical Nurse Operating Room providing direct patient care in an outpatient surgery center with multiple ORs and GI procedure rooms.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
- Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop and document individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team and communicating across care continuum.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural, and spiritual considerations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree and RN licensure.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- OR experience is preferred but not required.
