Clinical Nurse - Oncology

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Promotes patient and family-centered healing while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and communicate individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Addressing physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs
• Educating patients and families on managing conditions and post-treatment care
• Ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Maintaining a safe environment by adhering to safety-sensitive protocols

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required; RN license essential
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in high-acuity settings and in a safety-conscious manner
