About the Role
Provides direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management and post-treatment needs, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team for care planning and communication.
Responsibilities
- Perform critical assessments of physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs of patients.
- Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in all care interventions.
- Deliver high-acuity, complex nursing interventions in a safety-sensitive environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and communicate care plans.
- Educate patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs.
Requirements
- Nursing diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Active RN licensure.
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Less than two years of nursing experience.
Schedule
Night shifts.
