About the role

This clinical leadership position is responsible for providing effective management and leadership of clinical services, programs, and staff. This includes supervision of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants, speech language pathologists, social workers, and home health aides.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, guide, support, and direct staff to provide highly reliable, evidence-based, patient-family-centered quality interprofessional care using the Quadruple Aim model.
  • Supervise and manage clinical services, programs, and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Care and Maine State home health licensing regulations.
  • Manage in an interprofessional team to achieve agency goals and quality care outcomes.
  • Work with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Manage electronic health records, OASIS, and PDGM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Maine.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
  • Clinical specialty certification, highly desirable; OASIS certification, preferred.
  • Three years of clinical experience; supervisory and home health management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of OASIS.
  • Proficient with Electronic Health Record, OASIS, and PDGM.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Care and Maine State home health licensing regulations.
