Hospice Clinical Nurse Manager
Position Overview
The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the hospice program while ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient-centered care.
Essential Responsibilities
Clinical Operations & Patient Care
- Oversee coordination and delivery of hospice services across all care settings
- Ensure timely response to referrals, admissions, and patient care needs
- Monitor implementation and revision of individualized plans of care
- Accurately, timely, and compliantly document clinical documentation
Leadership & Staff Development
- Recruit, mentor, coach, and retain high-performing hospice professionals
- Conduct supervisory visits, performance evaluations, and competency assessments
- Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement
Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, Massachusetts regulations, and accreditation standards
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Monitor quality metrics and survey readiness
Qualifications
Required:
- Current MA RN License
- Minimum of three years of healthcare leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of hospice philosophy and regulatory requirements
PREFERRED:
- Hospice, palliative care, or home health leadership experience
- Experience with quality improvement and regulatory compliance

Pay: $108,000.00 - $114,000.00 per year
