Clinical Nurse Manager - Emergency Department

About the Role

Lead Emergency Department operations, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and clinical oversight. Manage daily activities, ensure policy compliance, and oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, education, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care and lead quality improvement initiatives focused on safety and care quality. Provide clinical leadership support in the absence of other managers.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required, MSN preferred)
• Current Illinois RN license
• BLS/CPR certification
• At least three years of management experience
• Preferred certifications: ECRN, TNS, or CEN (commitment to obtain if not already held)
