About the role
NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking two Clinical Nurse Managers – Advanced Practice to lead and develop the Acute Care Advanced Practice Team.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the effective and efficient operational management as well as the professional development of an identified group of high performing acute care ANPs/Clinical Support Workers.
- Work as an integral member of clinical teams across NHS Ayrshire and Arran, irrespective of organisational boundaries.
- Provide competent advanced clinical practice and leadership, support and advice to clinical staff.
- Be flexible in working arrangements, including shifts.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration and Pg. Dip Advanced Practice (or equivalent specialised qualification).
- Current non-medical prescriber.
- Experience of working in an acute care environment at an advanced level.
- The ability to work on your own initiative, prioritize workload, and develop excellent team working skills.
- A quality and safety focus, passion for transforming care across Ayrshire and Arran, and the ability to contribute to the development of current practice, act as a change agent, and educate others.
- The ability to look at new ways of working while ensuring a patient focus.
Qualifications
