About the role
NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking two Clinical Nurse Managers Advanced Practice to join their Hospital at Night Team. This is a permanent position with 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times to be negotiated.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the effective and efficient operational management of an identified group of high performing acute care ANPs/Clinical Support Workers.
- Provide competent advanced clinical practice and leadership, support and advice to clinical staff.
- Work as an integral member of clinical teams across NHS Ayrshire and Arran, irrespective of organisational boundaries.
- Be flexible in working arrangements, including shifts.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration and Pg. Dip Advanced Practice (or equivalent specialised qualification).
- Current non-medical prescriber.
- Experience of working in an acute care environment at an advanced level.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and foster excellent teamwork.
- Able to contribute to the development of current practice, act as a change agent, and educate others.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
