Clinical Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

About the Role

Provides direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient-centered care, educates patients and families, and ensures safety and quality compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans, collaborates with the healthcare team, and communicates effectively across the care continuum. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and quality initiatives
• Develop and document individualized care plans
• Evaluate patient needs holistically (physical, psychosocial, and emotional)
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care

Requirements & Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• No prior experience necessary, but less than 2 years preferred
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness while adhering to nursing standards
• Strong communication, assessment, and collaboration skills
