About the role

BayCare Health Systems is seeking experienced Med Surg/tele Nurses to join their outstanding and compassionate staffing resource office team. The Staffing Resource Office offers a variety of assignment options including Region Core Float Pool - Part-time. 2x12-hour shifts per week to include every 3rd Friday and Saturday night and 2 Sundays in a 6-week period. Holiday commitment includes summer and winter holidays, and hard-to-fill staffing days.

Responsibilities

  • Floating to a region of hospitals based on census needs.
  • Working at hospitals including St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside, Morton Plant Northbay, St Joseph's Main Hospital, St Joseph's North, St Joseph's South, BayCare Wesley Chapel, Bartow Regional, South Florida Baptist, and Winter Haven Hospitals.
  • Passing a Tele test during orientation.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license.
  • BLS (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
  • BSN.
  • 2 years RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting.
  • Prior experience with Cerner EMR.
  • Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts.
  • Must be able to pass Tele test during orientation.
  • Flexibility.
