Responsibilities

Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
Care for patients throughout their recovery in critical care.
Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.
Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition.
Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients.
Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.

High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient.
Professional accountability and development.

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 2-year experience of ER in a hospital setting
• Strongly prefers 4-years ER RN experience
• BLS certification American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association

Part Time-non-exempt

Shift

6:45PM - 7:15AM
Every 3rd Friday & Saturday, in addition two Sundays in 6-week schedule.

Holiday Bundle Requirement

Summer and winter holiday, and hard to fill staffing day.

Location

• Float between hospitals in regions 1 or 3 (see hospital regions below)

Hospital Regions

• Region 1 includes St Anthony's, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay Hospitals
• Region 3 includes Bartow Regional Medical Center, South Florida Baptist and Winter Haven Hospitals
