About the role
The Registered Professional Nurse assesses, coordinates, plans, directs, implements and manages the needs of assigned patients throughout the episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge, including during transitions within the acute care stay.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery and coordination of patient care provided by the caregiving team
- Assure that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers including referring facilities, hospital staff and patients in the inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings
- Progress from novice to competent within a specialty for those participating in the Nursing Professional Advancement Pathway (NPAP); eligible to apply for advancement to proficient or expert status as outlined in the NPAP
- Contribute to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening
- Recognize and appreciate that each employee's work is valuable and contributes to the success of the Mission
- Demonstrate excellence in daily work
- Actively participate in performance and quality improvement activities and work toward enhancing customer/patient satisfaction

- Demonstrate respect for individual differences of each person by acknowledging the essence of each person, appreciating and responding to unique, spiritual, personal and cultural backgrounds of patients, families and colleagues
Pay
$85,280.00 - $95,513.60
