About the Role
Join the Critical Care Float Pool at NewYork-Presbyterian, New York’s #1 hospital, as a Clinical Nurse I RN. This full-time, day shift position offers the opportunity to float across multiple world-renowned critical care specialties, including Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CTICU, CCU, and Neuro ICU at NYP/Columbia University Medical Center. As part of our "Unit without Walls," you’ll work within the same professional practice model as all NYP units, including a Unit Practice Council and Clinical Ladder, fostering shared clinical decision-making and teamwork. Gain exposure to diverse challenges, work alongside top specialists, and expand your clinical skills across specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in critical care settings.
- Rotate between multiple ICU specialties, including Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, CTICU, CCU, and Neuro ICU.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding patient outcomes.
- Participate in shared clinical decision-making and professional practice initiatives.
- Maintain professionalism and commitment to excellence in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- At least two years of ICU RN experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current NYS RN licensure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRN Certification.

Pay
Salary Range: $129,681–$141,006 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, day shift position.
All roles require on-site presence, and employees should live within a commutable distance to NewYork-Presbyterian. Travel expenses will not be reimbursed.
