About the Role
Care for critically-ill patients in our 25-bed Medical Stepdown Unit at New York-Presbyterian/The Allen Hospital. Join a team of highly-skilled clinicians providing specialized nursing care, including ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and administration of vasoactive medications. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for critically-ill patients in a Medical Stepdown Unit
- Manage ventilator support and cardiac monitoring
- Administer vasoactive medications
- Lead improvements in the patient care experience through evidence-based nursing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current NYS RN licensure (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of RN experience in acute care
- 1 year of RN stepdown/telemetry experience
- ACLS certification

Pay
Salary Range: $129,681 - $141,006/Annual
Schedule
Full-time, 12-hour night shifts with flexible scheduling.
All roles require on-site presence, and employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
