Clinical Nurse - GI Lab

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating them on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Engages in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while participating in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness to ensure safe practices. Qualifications: Nursing diploma or associate's degree; RN licensure required. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on patient safety and care coordination. Additional preferred experience includes ED, ICU, or GI settings. The role involves working in a specialized endoscopy department with a multidisciplinary team overseeing advanced procedures.
