What We Offer
- Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and competency validation for Surgical Services team members.
- Provide real-time coaching and education during clinical rounds.
- Design, develop, and deliver specialty-specific education programs for Surgical Services staff.
- Teach instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on educational programs.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for professional development and specialty certification preparation.
What You'll Do
Collaborate with department leadership to identify educational needs and implement improvement initiatives.
Promote evidence-based practice, clinical excellence, and patient safety standards.
Maintain educational records, competency documentation, and program evaluations.
Qualifications
- Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing, required. BSN, required. Graduate Degree, preferred. MSN, preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of three years of clinical practice in area of specialization (emergency department), required.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in appropriate state, required. RN prof cert in relevant specialty within 6 months of hire, required. CEN or CPEN accepted for this position. TNCC or ENPC preferred. SANE experience a plus.
