For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $20,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
About the Role
Maine Medical Center – Biddeford is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) to join our Nursing Education Team with a primary focus on supporting ACU, ENDO and PACU.
The Ideal Candidate Will Bring Strong perioperative experience as a Registered Nurse
Experience facilitating education
Certification (strongly preferred) or the ability and commitment to obtain certification
Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse - Clinical Educator role is responsible for the implementation of clinical and non-clinical education.
Develops, coordinates, and implements continuing education and in-service education for all clinical departments.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing/BSN required. Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
Experience: Demonstrated clinical expertise in direct patient care as normally acquired through a minimum of two years clinical experience and meets all the care delivery expectations of the expert clinical nurse within their clinical setting required.
Experience in classroom instruction and/or clinical teaching associated with specialty specific setting preferred.
