Position Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of the Director of Education and the Chief Nursing Officer to provide continuing clinical education to staff.
• Strives to provide excellent service with compassion, tact, cheerfulness, accuracy, patience, flexibility in scheduling, calmness in emergency, and ability to work well with all team members.
• Receives and applies feedback from peers and superiors.
• Aids in orientation and training of staff as requested.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree in Nursing; Master’s degree in Nursing required for those with possible Primary Nurse Planner designation.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state license.
• Certification: Current BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. BLS Instructor certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 6 months of position hire date. Current ACLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS Instructor certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 6 months of position hire date. Current PALS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. PALS Instructor certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 6 months of position hire date.
