Clinical Nurse Educator, Cardiac ICU and Procedural areas, 8a-4:30p

• Assesses, develops, plans, presents, and evaluates educational activities based on areas of expertise.
• Collaborates with management, staff, and advanced practice registered nurses to achieve goals related to learning and competence.
• Focuses on professional development of the nursing staff through orientation, continuing education programs, and in-services related to changes that occur.
• Promotes the Norton Healthcare nursing professional practice model utilizing Dr. Kristen Swanson's Theory of Caring, focusing on responsibilities, relationships, and communication.
• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and behaviors for neonate/infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients as appropriate based on specific criteria and/or age-specific considerations.

Qualifications

• Required: One year as a registered nurse; Bachelor Degree; Registered Nurse
• Desired: One year in academic or clinical education, practice governance structures, or in area of nursing specialty; Master Degree
