About the role

The Clinical Coordinator (CC)/Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) plays a crucial role in managing the clinical activities of the Wound Care Center. They are responsible for patient care assessment, planning, and implementation, as well as collaborating with healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provides case management to a group of patients, conducting assessments according to protocols and procedures.
  • Organizes and prioritizes clinical responsibilities, overseeing clinical staff including RNs, LPNs/LVNs, CMAs, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Technicians.
  • Collaborates with other health care providers and hospital personnel to address clinical and patient needs.
  • Engages in staff development, offering both general and individual instruction and orientation.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and participates in continuous process improvement.
  • If the center offers Vein Care services, coordinates the Vein Clinic and assists with patient care.
  • Works closely with the Program Director and Medical Director to meet quality indicators and program objectives.
  • Performs documentation as needed and may act as a scribe or chamber operator under appropriate training.
  • Manages patient care based on Center staffing needs and performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Current RN license required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum requirement, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • One year of RN experience required, with two years preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Wound care certification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Leadership and motivational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of hospital databases and web-based systems.

Skills

  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Experience with patient care documentation and care coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and change management skills.

Benefits

Healogics offers competitive compensation, with a salary range of $87,200.00 - $117,500.00 annually, based on qualifications and experience. The company also provides comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.

Schedule
