About the role
The Clinical Coordinator oversees the management and operation of a dialysis clinic, stepping in for the Administrator when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with clinical and operational processes to enhance patient health and reduce hospitalizations and missed treatments.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and staffing to ensure efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logs, dialysis run sheets, and billing documentation.
- Develop standards for patient care and monitor outcomes in compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Ensure documentation of treatments and communications is thorough and up-to-date.
- Promote quality management, review incident reports, and support program goals.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and assist with survey preparations.
- Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and foster team development.
- Ensure a safe, clean environment, maintain equipment, and respond to emergencies.
- Build collaborative relationships with medical staff, vendors, and the community.
Requirements
- Current RN license in applicable state.
- At least 12 months of nursing experience, including 3 months in dialysis care.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical applications within 90 days.
- Ability to distinguish primary colors and perform essential duties satisfactorily.
Skills
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively.
- Ability to perform under emergent situations.
