Clinical Nurse Coordinator - OR - Days
Position Highlights
The Perioperative Clinical Coordinator position at Swedish Hospital, Chicago, IL is a full-time role with hours from 7a to 3:30p, including rotating weekend, call, and holiday schedules.
What You Will Do
- Has accountability for perioperative nursing care provided in his/her designated surgical specialties.
- Captures and maintains supplies, equipment, and instruments necessary to deliver optimal surgical care.
- Coordinates department throughput, efficiencies, resources, and staffing.
- Coordinates perioperative workflows, activities, and communicates to all key stakeholders working with or in the perioperative areas.
What You Will Need
- Education: BS in Nursing or currently enrolled in a BSN program, degree must be acquired within 24 months of hire.
- Certification/License: IL RN License, CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association.
- Experience: Experience in OR setting, team building, leadership acumen, critical thinking, and effective communication.
- Competencies: Specific to specialty, must demonstrate competency in care of all patient age groups.

Schedule and Pay
The hourly pay range for this position is $36.00 - $55.80, determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience.
