About the role
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high‑quality, patient‑centered care during their shift, collaborating with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing services in accordance with policies. They serve as a resource for staff, model organizational values, and support clinical outcomes and departmental performance.
Responsibilities
Oversee nursing functions, coordinate patient care, support staff, and uphold clinical standards. The CNC promotes an exceptional patient experience and clinical excellence through leadership and resource management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Hospital RN experience
- Active RN license in the practice state
- Charge nurse experience (preferred)
- Master’s degree (preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (mandatory)
- Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
