Clinical Nurse Coordinator Intermediate Care Unit
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) at Wesley Medical Center plays a crucial role in delivering high quality, patient-centered care. This position requires:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
- A registered nurse (RN) license
About the Role
The CNC works closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all functions in the unit are coordinated and delivered effectively. They also assist with admission and discharge processes, collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and services, provide coaching and training to improve staff performance and engagement, and assist with staff scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care
- Assist with admission and discharge processes
- Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement
- Assist with staff scheduling
Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse (RN) diploma
