Clinical Nurse Coordinator - Acute Care Medical and Oncology Unit

Role: Coordinates and supervises nursing care on a designated unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care while fostering a positive environment and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, assists with orientation, conducts performance evaluations, manages staffing and supplies, and addresses performance issues. Facilitates communication among staff, patients, and visitors, participates in policy development, supports evidence-based practices, mentors staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and handles patient and family concerns. Assists in monitoring incidents, documentation, and resource management, and supports a healthy work environment aligned with Magnet principles. Qualifications & Skills: Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor's or Specialty Nursing program. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to promote professional growth and teamwork, with a focus on patient safety and regulatory standards.
