Clinical Nurse BMT Oncology

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized oncology unit, focusing on high-acuity treatments such as leukemia care, stem cell transplants, and clinical trials.

Key Duties

• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, communicate, and evaluate care plans
• Educate patients and families on illness management and medication
• Participate in professional development and quality improvement activities
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting a healing environment centered on patient and family involvement

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid RN license and Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience is not mandatory, but two years of nursing experience is preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism
