Clinical Neurodiagnostic Supervisor - Autonomic Lab
Responsibilities
- Manages staff and the assigned work unit operations within a multi-laboratory Division.
- Maintains technical expertise by performing neurodiagnostic procedures on a regular basis.
- Covers an assignment if needed and works collaboratively with other CNP supervisors.
- Coordinates staffing within the work unit(s) to ensure all patient studies are completed, duties are assigned, and tasks are completed each day.
- Maintains daily work processes to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Provides direction for day-to-day operations, facilitates a positive work environment, and acts as a coach and mentor to the allied health staff within the work unit(s).
- Acts as the liaison between physicians, technologists, clinical assistants, etc. within the work unit.
- Coordinates breaks, training, quality assurance tasks, staffing to workload, strategic planning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains processes, supplies, and staff.
- Communicates effectively with the work unit staff, patients, and other medical center employees.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years’ experience in a Neurodiagnostic/Sleep Medicine Laboratory is required.
- Must be a current Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist to apply.
- Within two years of employment, specific certification through ABRET – Neurodiagnostic Credentialing and Accreditation (R. EEG T., R. EP T., CNIM, CLTM and CAP); American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM; CNCT) and/or AAET – The Nerve Conduction Association (R.NCS.T.) is required in the laboratory of hire.
- To comply with ABRET accreditation standards, CNIM certification is required for IONM practice supervisors.
- Must have current certification in Basic Life Support.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities including excellent communication, human relations, and organizational skills.
- Broad base knowledge of computer functions supporting work unit operation.
- Demonstrated strong performance over the previous 2-3 performance evaluation cycles is also required.
- A Bachelor’s degree required or must be completed within two years of hire.
- Experience in supervision or management related functions are preferred.

$90,604.80 - $134,011.20 / year
