Responsibilities
- Guide patients through the healthcare journey by providing patient-centered education, emotional support, and clinical guidance.
- Ensure patients understand their care options and feel supported at each step.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary appointments, tests, and treatments.
- Serve as a key liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and external resources.
- Perform thorough clinical assessments and precise documentation.
- Engage in proactive communication to streamline patient care.
- Connect patients to relevant resources to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care through the treatment process.
Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited School of Nursing program.
- State of New Mexico Nursing License or valid multi-state compact license.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interdisciplinary teamwork experience.
- Bachelor's of Nursing or Healthcare Management.
