About the role

The Clinical Navigator role is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and guidance to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, and a passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families in navigating the healthcare system, including scheduling appointments, understanding insurance coverage, and accessing necessary resources.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families during challenging times.
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate specialists and community resources.
• Stay updated on new healthcare policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely information for patients.
• Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and progress for documentation purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (healthcare, social work, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in email and internet navigation.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
