Clinical Manager, Performance Improvement

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with PI team members to implement advisory solutions and demonstrate the value of the solution throughout the client engagement
  • Manage time efficiently and work on multiple concurrent projects part-time with competing priorities and timelines
  • Own project management artifacts (workplans, status reports, decision and risk logs) and drive the development of key deliverables
  • Create complex analytical models using advanced tools (e.g., SlicerDicer, PowerBI, CoPilot) to drive unique solutions to complex healthcare problems
  • Develop detailed statistical reports, visualizations, and presentations for both internal team and client review
  • Lead client interviews and meetings
  • Conduct detailed analyses to identify specific opportunities for improvement, as well as implementation recommendations
  • Consistently deliver work products that are high-quality and client-ready
  • Contribute to practice knowledge capital and tool development
  • Develop and update related work plans, issue logs, status reports, and related initiative trackers
  • Review and validate conducted analyses and client deliverables before submission
  • Complete quality reviews on team member work products before delivery to client personnel, validating team member findings and observations, and corroborate team member process improvement and analytic activities
  • Manage and mentor resources both within projects and across the PI Practice
  • Establish competency and expertise across multiple PI solutions (e.g., Clinical, Quality, Organizational Change Management)

Minimum requirements

  • Education & Industry: Bachelor’s degree required in Nursing, Master’s degree preferred; 7+ years of experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., nursing, leadership, clinical informatics, process improvement, consulting)
  • Operational knowledge in at least a few of the following clinical areas: inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, surgery, emergency, trauma, care management, patient throughput
  • Operational experience in process improvement, operational change management, and/or informatics
  • Core Software Skills: Strong expertise using Microsoft Office products; Experience working with Epic EMR; Demonstrated knowledge using some of the following tools: GenAI Assistants (CoPilot), Analytical (PowerBI, Tableau)
