About the role
Lead the Pediatric Service Line at Weill Cornell Medical Center, overseeing a team of nurses and providing clinical direction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure patient care quality in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex clinical issues and improve patient outcomes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Master’s in Nursing or related field.
- American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board certification.
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN experience.
- At least two years of pediatric experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN license.
- BLS Certification.
- PALS Certification.
