Clinical Manager - Pediatric Service Line Night Flex

About the role

Lead the Pediatric Service Line at Weill Cornell Medical Center, overseeing a team of nurses and providing clinical direction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure patient care quality in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex clinical issues and improve patient outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Master’s in Nursing or related field.
• American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board certification.
• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) RN experience.
• At least two years of pediatric experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Current New York State RN license.
• BLS Certification.
• PALS Certification.
