About the role

The Clinical Manager provides direct clinical supervision to assist in maintaining appropriate clinical standards with 24-hour accountability. Participates in development and management of the budget.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical supervision to assist in maintaining appropriate clinical standards with 24-hour accountability.
• Participates in development and management of the budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• 5+ years of staff nurse experience with progressive clinical management skills required.
• 1+ years of demonstrated leadership skills by functioning as a resource/charge RN for at least one year is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia is required.
• National Certification by specialty organization is required within two years of hire.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological stages of human growth and development.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills in planning, implementation, managing.

Skills

• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources.
