About the role

A Clinical Manager for Spiritual & Grief Care will oversee the spiritual and grief care services provided to patients and families at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. This role is responsible for ensuring that these services meet the highest standards of quality and compassion.

Responsibilities

Manage the spiritual and grief care programs, including planning, implementing, and evaluating services.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to patients and families.

Oversee the training and development of staff providing spiritual and grief care services.

Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and external organizations to enhance the quality of care.

Requirements

Master’s degree in a relevant field such as pastoral care, counseling, social work, or related area.

Experience in healthcare settings, preferably in a leadership role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

Current certification in Spiritual Care or similar credentials.

Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing healthcare and patient rights.

Skills
