Clinical Manager ( Chesapeake Specialty Care)

About the role

The Clinical Manager oversees and supports daily clinical operations, supervising clinical staff, optimizing workflows, and ensuring high-quality patient care. This role requires a strong leader who can collaborate effectively with providers and administrative teams while maintaining efficient and compliant clinical processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor Medical Assistants and clinical staff
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing performance development of clinical employees
• Manage hiring processes and conduct annual performance evaluations for clinical team members
• Monitor attendance, approve timecard adjustments, and manage PTO and overtime usage
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily workloads; provide clinical support as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience working in a medical office or clinical setting required
• Familiarity with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred)
• Understanding of healthcare regulations, workflows, and best practices

Pay

The base salary range for this position is between the low and high end of Chesapeake Specialty Care’s salary range. Exact salary will depend on factors such as geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility, and qualifications.
