About the Role

Advanced Foot & Ankle Care, a division of US Foot & Ankle Specialists, is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead clinical operations across multiple office locations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about coaching teams, improving workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing patient care. You'll collaborate with physicians, office leadership, and clinical staff to foster a high-performing, collaborative culture while supporting operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support Medical Assistants and clinical staff across multiple locations.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new clinical team members and providers.
  • Create weekly staffing schedules and ensure adequate clinical coverage.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and address performance concerns.
  • Maintain and improve clinical workflows, protocols, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, MIPS, radiation safety, and other regulatory standards.
  • Oversee X-ray compliance, equipment maintenance, inspections, and staff certifications.
  • Optimize EMR workflows, templates, documentation, and reporting.
  • Monitor clinical performance and implement process improvements.
  • Support specialty services, including PRP procedures and equipment management.
  • Lead physician and staff meetings, communicate updates, and foster collaboration.
  • Resolve patient concerns and promote an exceptional patient experience.
  • Stay current on industry best practices through continuing education.
  • Perform Medical Assistant duties as needed to support daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of medical practice leadership experience.
  • 4+ years managing teams of 7+ employees.
  • Experience in physician practice operations.
  • Strong knowledge of medical insurance, billing, and healthcare workflows.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Commitment to HIPAA compliance, professionalism, and exceptional patient care.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands include regularly sitting, talking, hearing, and using hands for writing, typing, or operating equipment. Occasionally, the role requires reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and smelling. Repetitive motions, including reaching overhead and typing, are necessary. The employee must lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments are also required.
