About the role
Reno Orthopedic Center seeks a Clinical Manager to lead and develop clinic teams, drive operational excellence, and ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead direct reports in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Interview, orient, hire, train, appraise performance, address employee and patient complaints, and resolve problems
- Motivate, inspire, and support staff to a higher level of engagement, productivity, and improved operations
- Assess teams' overall function, operations, and patient care and execute changes as needed
- Implement long-term plans, new services, and quality assessment plans
- Use Electronic Health Records to pull reports and review data
- Develop and maintain effective communication within the organization
- Champion and be a positive change agent for the organization's mission, vision, guiding principles, and initiatives
- Manage daily operations, analyze performance data, and implement process improvements
- Support physicians and staff with resources and services necessary to meet patient needs
- Promote and support proper documentation in compliance with federal, state, and plan guidelines and regulations
- Contribute to the overall success of the clinic through participation in and support of cross-functional activities, communications, processes, policies, protocols, and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field OR equivalent experience in a similar role with High School Diploma/GED
- Two years' managing and leading teams in a healthcare environment
- Communicating effectively with all levels of employees (professional staff, managerial staff, front line staff, etc.) to resolve issues and concerns
- Using computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office, and Electronic Health Records
Qualifications
- Two years' performing an orthopedic specialty relevant clinical position providing direct patient care with working knowledge of health care practices
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Leadership and management skills
- Computer proficiency, especially with Electronic Health Records
- Experience in healthcare management
- Knowledge of orthopedic specialties
